There are a surprising amount of Sports activities that are supported around the area. Here are just a few that have a web presents:
2. The Teddington Rugby Football Club started life at the White Hart pub at Hampton Wick and using the pitches in Home Park and were originally called the Old Masonians RFC. The current name was adopted in 1998. Their facilities are in Busy Park under the auspices of Teddington Town Sports Club and accept men, ladies and juniors.
3. The Teddington Hockey Club was established in 1871. Teddington is a thriving hockey club, running 12 men’s and ladies’ teams, over 12 junior sides, and various mixed, indoor and occasional teams.

5. Tamesis Sailing Club this well known club is located at Trowlock Way, Broom Road.
6. The long established Teddington Town Cricket Club is located in Bushy Park.
7. Teddington Cricket Club - is situated in Bushy Park. Teddington CC is one of the "most successful clubs in the country" and have teams of every level and age group playing over 300 games throughout the summer.
8. Teddington Swimming Club Teddington Pool is located at Vicarage Road, Teddington, TW11 8EZ. Tel: (02) 8977 9911. The club has about 400 swimming members and a number of associate members. Swimmers ages range from 6 to 60+. The club was founded in 1978 when the old open air pool in Teddington was modernised and reopened as a well-equipped indoor pool.
9. Teddington Sub-Aqua Club. The Teddington Sub-Aqua Club is a Branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club, formed in May 1997. They meet every Wednesday (except for a break of a few weeks over Christmas and the New Year) at the Teddington Pool and Fitness Centre in Vicarage Road at 8.30pm. 10. LENSBURY is set in idyllic surroundings fronting the River Thames. A blend of old and new, it offers a dedicated conference centre, extensive leisure, dining and relaxation facilities together with good accommodation.
11. Walbrook Rowing Club. This club is situated on the Middlesex bank of the Thames just above Teddington Lock. It is the first non-tidal club on the Thames. The club was originally established in 1961 for BP employees. In 1993, along with The Skiff Club and Kingston Royals, the Dragon Boating club, Walbrook joined with the Royal Canoe Club to become the rowing section of 'Walbrook and Royal Canoe Club'. It is now an open club and welcomes anyone interested in rowing.
